Like any software, Seam needs code to run. At the bare minimum, any Seam application must include the core Seam library, jboss-seam.jar, in its classpath. If you are deploying your application as an EAR file, the most convenient (and portable) way to include the library is to put it in your EAR file and add it as a java module in the application.xml file.
